Okay. After about five different installs, five different system restarts, and waiting four hours to charge the little bugger (smooches to [info]raebird), I appear to have successfully uploaded my iTunes tracks onto Bubbles (that's currently her name), and am currently ripping "Love. Angel. Music. Baby".

Oops, that's done. On to Dixie Chicks. My goal is to have all my Dixie Chicks, No Doubt/Gwen, Sarah McL, Em (except for "Drips", because ew), OMWF, and various melancholy chick music (Minnie Driver, Kelly Clarkson, Norah Jones, etc) tracks onto Bubbles by Monday. It's a 6g, so I'm good for (roughly) 120-150 albums. Which might be less than I have. But I still have CDs I need to buy. Honestly, I'm not sure I need all my CDs with me at all times anyway.

I've read I need to keep all the ripped music saved on iTunes? Good thing the House DVDs are coming out this month, I've got half the season saved on my harddrive. Heh.

Kitty is currently sitting on my earbuds so I haven't been able to sample the goods yet, but that's the only problem I'm having right now.

Oh, my God. I installed it all by myself. And apparently correctly! I'm a technical goddess.

Yay, iPod success!

You do if you want to use AutoSync. If you turn that off, you can still add new music and playlists to your iPod manually, but that's kind of a pain.
